At the deadline in mid-october, we were somewhat shaken by the fact that only one person, outside the organizing team, had sent in his application to take part in the conference one month later. After Henrik and Kamil had discussed the matter over phone, we decided to go ahead anyhow. Are we glad we took that decision!!!

The conference on November 17-18 2000 was an immense success, mainly due to the excellent arrangements made by the former JIBS student Kamil Karpeta. Two very interesting company visits, one on each side of the German-Polish border, along with leisure and cultural activities, good food and a hotel well worth its price, made this two very rewarding days, which we have good hopes will lead to future business between Sweden, Poland and Germany.
